International – American Challenge
The International – American Challenge pits international sports and GT cars over 1500cc against American muscle cars built through 1973.
There wasn’t a change in the top 4 positions throughout the International – American Challenge race on Sunday. The entry of Edward/Alan Sevadjian led every lap, but was disqualified for aggressive driving. (The results list both names. Don’t know who was driving.) Possibly for blocking maneuvers on the back straight? So Dennis Olthoff inherited the win as a result of Sevadjian’s DQ.

Napleton Porsche and HSR teamed up to develop the Cayman Interseries which consists of the 2009 and 2010 Cayman S. Champions will be crowned in sprint and endurance formats. One cool feature of the series is that all the cars have a replica livery of a past historic racing Porsche. This is the first official season of the series.
The Cayman Interseries ran three Feature Races this weekend. Feature Race #1 was the last session on Friday. Lee Davis was the winner, Jonathan Ryan was 2nd, and David Hansson was 3rd.
Feature Race #2 was a part of the Historic GT/Championship of Makes race on Saturday. David Hansson won this race, Jonathan Ryan was runner-up again, and Lee Davis finished 3rd.
Feature Race #3 was on Sunday. Jonathan Ryan, after finishing 2nd in the previous 2 races of the weekend, finally pulled off a win. David Hansson was joined by Patrick Long in this race, and the Group 6 Feature Races, to help shake down the #37 2010 Porsche GT3 Cup car for Grand Am competition.
